Every room in Samantha's home is remarkably beautiful, but her kitchen is truly captivating. Clean, minimal, but with plenty of character and intricate detail, it's a space that offers the most delightful base for Samantha's gorgeous interior touches. From the hanging branch in the skylight to the plants and flowers dotted around, this room is just breathtaking. 

Potted plants offer a beautiful finishing touch to the room, but Samantha knew she needed something more to complete the space. Having already had shutters in several rooms of her home, Samantha knew the benefits of the classic window covering. Privacy and light control is a given, but the aesthetic is an admirable addition. Classic, sophisticated and versatile, shutters offer something that curtains and blinds can't, and knowing this, Samantha wished to complete her home.

In a kitchen space, we'd always recommend a moisture-resistant option, especially above a sink. You'd be surprised at how often water splashes up that could potentially damage your window covering. This is exactly why, in these cases, our uPVC shutters are ideal. They are fully moisture-resistant, strengthened with an aluminium core, and we've designed them so that they offer the same loved appearance as our hardwood shutters. As Samantha already had shutters around her home, the look needed to be consistent. That was effortless with our shutters. 

When uniquely designing her shutters, she chose our 89mm louvres which are the largest ones we offer in the colour Pristine (a dazzling white which perfectly matched her kitchen). She then selected stainless steel hinges which are also moisture-resistant.

The finished result? Just perfect. The remarkable beauty of shutters is how well they can complement your home, and in Samantha's case, it looks as if they had always been there. They, of course, generously offer the light and privacy control that shutters are so often chosen for, but also the most wonderful finishing touch for the space.
